Nairobi 18th February 2026 : Ambassador Nakhumicha Wafula today was among other diginitaries and leaders that accompanied H.E. the President during the inspection on the progress of the Nairobi River Regeneration Programme, implemented by the Nairobi Rivers Commission that includes the completed trunk sewer line project in Lucky Summer, Ruaraka.
Regeneration of Nairobi rivers is among the core priorities of Amb Wafula’s mandate as the Permanent Representative to the UN-Habitat and therefore the Mission maintains a strong rapport with the Commission, Nairobi County Government and other partners for the success of the programme.
