AMB. NAKHUMICHA WAFULA PARTICIPATES IN RECEPTION HONOURING WOMEN LEADERS IN CLIMATE JUSTICE AND PEACE

Nairobi 4th March 2026: H.E. Amb. Nakhumicha Wafula E.G.H., Kenya’s Permanent Representative to the UN-Habitat participated in a reception hosted by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in collaboration with Nobel Women’s Initiative. The evening event whose keynote speakers included Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Jody Williams (USA), Shirin Ebadi (Iran), Leymah Gbowee (Liberia) and Oleksandra Matviichuk (Ukraine) commemorated African Environment Day, Wangari Maathai Day, and the leadership of women advancing climate justice, eco-rights, and peace.
