The Permanent Representative further shared Kenya’s ongoing initiatives toward the realization of affordable housing, as underscored by H.E. President William Samoei Ruto during the opening plenary, noting how these efforts align with broader continental and global urban development priorities.
Finally, she emphasized that these efforts are vital in shaping forward-looking policies that promote Housing for All and accelerate progress toward achieving SDG 11, making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.
