Nairobi, 23rd July 2026: At the invitation of H.E. Hatem Yousri Hosni, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Kenya, H.E. Amb. Nakhumicha Wafula, E.G.H., Kenya’s Permanent Representative to UN-Habitat, attended the commemoration of Egypt’s Revolution Day at the Villa Rosa Kempinski, alongside members of the diplomatic corps.
The Permanent Representative expressed gratitude for Egypt’s continued multilateral support and alignment on UN-Habitat matters, particularly its support of Kenya’s chairmanship of the Programmatic, Budgetary and Administrative Matters Working Group of the Executive Board.
The occasion reaffirmed the robust, multifaceted, and historic partnership between Kenya and Egypt, founded on shared values, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to advancing multilateral cooperation.
