Situated in Eastern Africa, the Republic of Kenya is a country of remarkable diversity, strategic importance, and vibrant socio-economic growth. Languages

Kiswahili is the national language, while English is the official language. Numerous indigenous languages are spoken throughout the country. The state promotes the development and use of other forms of communication, such as Kenyan Sign Language, Braille, and other technologies accessible to persons with disability

Geography and Borders

Kenya’s size is approximately 580,367 km², with 569,140 km² of land and 11,227 km² of water. The country borders South Sudan to the northwest, Ethiopia to the north, Somalia to the east, Uganda to the west, Tanzania to the south, and the Indian Ocean to the southeast.
Kenya’s geographical diversity includes natural wonders such as the Great Rift Valley, towering Mount Kenya, and the lush, fertile highlands in the central region. Governance

The Republic of Kenya is a unitary multi-party democratic state with two levels of government: the National Government and 47 County Governments. The National Government is composed of three distinct branches: the Legislature (Parliament), the Executive, and the Judiciary.
