Nairobi, 4 December 2025 : Her Excellency Ambassador Nakhumicha Wafula, E.G.H., Kenya’s Permanent Representative to UN-Habitat, held a meeting with Mr. John Paul Okwiri, Chief Executive Officer of the Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA), to explore avenues for collaboration in advancing sustainable urban development.
Ambassador Wafula commended the impressive strides made by Konza Technopolis, widely recognized as “Africa’s Silicon Savannah,” noting its pivotal role in Kenya’s digital transformation agenda and its emergence as a model smart city for the nation and the region.
She reaffirmed the Permanent Mission’s commitment to deepening engagement with KoTDA and other stakeholders to promote inclusive, innovative, and sustainable smart city development.
