Ambassador Grace Okara Hosts Courtesy Meeting with IGAD Head of Mission to Kenya

Nairobi, 17 th March 2025 – Dr. Fatuma Adan, Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Head of Mission to Kenya paid a courtesy call on Amb. Grace Okara, Permanent Representative of Kenya to UN-Habitat. Their discussion focused on how to collaborate and address issues of mutual concern in line with their respective mandates, including working with the youth in building climate resilience, nutrition and reviving IGAD’s flagship initiative of jointly planting African indigenous fruit trees. The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) is an eight-country bloc headquartered in Djibouti and committed to promoting regional cooperation and integration to add value to members’ efforts in achieving peace, security and prosperity.
