UN Headquarters Nairobi, October 24th : Kenya was honored to represent the Africa group as co-chair of the Intergovernmental Open-Ended Working Group on Adequate Housing for All (OEWG-H), alongside France.
As the second session concluded, delegates thanked both co-chairs for their principled leadership, diplomatic rigor, and commitment to inclusive multilateral dialogue. Their tenure has laid a strong foundation for advancing the right to adequate housing through consensus and collaboration.
We warmly congratulate Azerbaijan and Somalia on their election as incoming co-chairs and reaffirm our support for the continued work of the OEWG-H in promoting sustainable and equitable housing solutions.
