United Nations Office Nairobi, 31st July 2025: H.E. Amb. Nakhumicha Wafula, E.G.H. paid a courtesy call on Ms. Anacláudia Rossbach, UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN-Habitat. This followed the presentation of her credentials earlier in the month to the Director-General of UNON.
The Permanent Representative commended the Executive Director for her exemplary leadership during the recently concluded Resumed Second Session of the UN-Habitat Assembly and expressed her commitment to continued collaboration with Kenya in advancing the work of the programme, particularly the government’s affordable housing programme.
Ms. Anacláudia Rossbach underscored the importance of collaboration and welcomed the opportunity to work closely with the new Permanent Representative in advancing UN-Habitat’s mandate, particularly in promoting access to adequate housing for all.
