The Kenya Permanent Mission to the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) will participate in the resumed second session of the UN-Habitat Assembly, scheduled to take place from 29 to 30 May 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya. The Assembly is one of the three governing bodies of the UN-Habitat and is composed of all 193 Member States of the UN. The Assembly convenes every four years to address issues related to sustainable urbanization and human settlements.
The theme of the resumed session is: A sustainable urban future through inclusive and effective multilateralism: achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in times of global crises.”
