SECOND AFRICA URBAN FORUM KICKS OFF IN NAIROBI

Nairobi, 8 April 2026: H.E. Amb Nakhumicha Wafula E.G.H., Participated at the Second Session of the Africa Urban Forum (AUF2) which kicked off today at the KICC in Nairobi. The event hosted by the Government of Kenya was officially launched by H.E. Musalia Mudavadi E.G.H., Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Forum, convened by the African Union under the theme “Adequate Housing for All: Advancing Socio-economic and Environmental Transformation towards the Realization of Agenda 2063.” Highlights Kenya’s role in advancing sustainable urban development in Africa. Discussions will focus on affordable housing, sustainable cities, and innovative ways to finance urban development. The Forum will also provide an opportunity to share experiences and best practices from across the continent.
