Nairobi, 14th August 2026: H.E. Amb. Nakhumicha Wafula, E.G.H., Kenya’s Permanent Representative to UN-Habitat, was honored to join H.E. Mrs. Nardos Bekele -Thomas, CEO of AUDA‑NEPAD, in her briefing to the Diplomatic Corps. H.E Nardos Bekele lauded AU’s Agenda 2063 and highlighted AUDA – NEPAD’s strategic focus, with PIDA as a cornerstone, while underscoring youth capacity‑building for Africa’s transformation.
Amb. Nakhumicha reiterated the need for African Ambassadors to lead from the front in accelerating Agenda 2063 and emphasized Kenya’s role under the visionary leadership of H.E. President William Ruto, in advancing discussions on the Beyond 2030 Development Framework.
