Nairobi 9th July 2026: The Permanent Mission convened a consultative meeting with the Nairobi Rivers Commission at the Mission Chancery to deliberate on preparations for the forthcoming Nairobi Rivers Donor Roundtable Breakfast. The discussions centered on mobilizing strategic partnerships and reinforcing collaboration to ensure the effective implementation of the Nairobi Rivers Regeneration Programme.
The meeting was chaired by Ambassador Beatrice Karago, Deputy Permanent Representative, and brought together senior officials from the Nairobi Rivers Commission. The Commission’s delegation was led by Chief Executive Officer Brig. (Rtd.) Joseph Muracia, accompanied by Commissioners Eva Muhia, Josephat Sagero, and Dr. Loice Kipkorir. The deliberations reaffirmed the shared commitment to advancing sustainable river restoration through coordinated partnerships and strengthened stakeholder engagement.
