Nairobi, 3 September 2026 : Amb. Beatrice Karago, Deputy Permanent Representative of Kenya to UN‑Habitat, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Sultan Hajiyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Kenya.
Their discussions focused on areas of mutual interest within the UN‑Habitat framework, including opportunities to deepen partnerships under the Building Climate Resilience with the Urban Poor (BCRUP) initiative. They also explored avenues for collaboration and participation in the lead‑up to, and during, COP31.
